Morrisons is pioneering the use of AI in the UK supermarket sector by deploying AI-powered cameras across its stores to enhance stock availability and staff efficiency. In collaboration with the US-based AI firm Focal System, this technology is set to be fully implemented by the year's end. These cameras enable real-time data analytics for stock levels and automate key decisions, improving overall store operations and focusing on enhancing customer relations under the leadership of new CEO, Rami Baitiéh.
