How does Focal charge for its solutions?

Focal typically charges a set-up fee plus a monthly service fee. Total cost depends on the number and size of stores, number of services, and length of commitment. Focal customers achieve a return multiples higher than their cost, even within the first year of use. Click here to learn more.

Focal provides AI-as-a-Service rather than selling individual cameras. If necessary, Focal can downscope its solution to deliver product recognition quality images as a service for less than the cost of installing and managing your own cameras. Focal’s system can typically be installed in a store in a single day (or night) and be operating the next day.

Focal’s current focus is on the full range of products sold in grocery, convenience, pharmacy, and health and beauty stores, with more categories to come. 

Focal cameras are designed to “disappear” on store shelves. They are unobtrusive and rarely noticed by shoppers. The cameras take still images, and all pixels containing individuals are stripped from the images before analysis or storage. With over 300K cameras deployed worldwide, we have had very few complaints.
